What time is it?

It's Tiger time.

I have just spent 8 days in Bangkok (not bike trip related) and I thought I should provide some sort of insight into the beer of the south east.

Tiger is the best of a good range and I think the main reason for this is the cool label colors and the way it just seems to roll off your lips when you order one. "I'd like a Tiger please"... Like most Asian beers it's seen as just a stepping stone to the hard stuff and the go-go bars. So if your in Patpong and the only thing that is concerning you is the type of beer to drink...I personally recommend Tiger 3.4/5

On another note, I've been off the bike for a bit over a week now and I'm already fearing the saddle soreness and anticipating the crashes...I need to slow down. Oh and I think I've found my bike a Surly Long Haul Trucker, so if you'd like to donate?!!! Please feel free!

Shop till you drop.

A very quick update...

I have started purchasing and testing equipment, first cab of the rank was a EXO 2 x man Tent I bought off ebay.

Eureka EXO Plus
Price : $240, Weight: 1.8kg (very light)
Conditions : We hiked into sealers cove at Wilsons Prom for an overnight stay in late August.

Outcome : Well...It was light...However after Michael and I slept in it, the condensation on the walls was so bad, we would have been dryer if we had of slept outside. I need a fly.

On another note, the One For The Road Online store is up and running, so many great value items and all for a good cause, check it out at http://www.cafepress.com/1_for_the_road.

The logo has been finalized, so look out for it on the shelves on your next trip to Dan Murphy's. I am thinking the invites to the going away party will come in the form of stubby holders...So if you know anyone who can do this, drop me a line.

Monthly Condition Update:
No falls... finally a month without skun knees. Small improvement since I have been riding to work everyday and to keep the boredom at bay, I've started swimming at the Collingwood leisure center, great to see so many old men taking advantage of the free swim and shower seinors week in the later part of August..I now know what I have to look forward to.

I have also found another tip for drinking beer. Start with a good glass of red, once you have put that down, follow it up with a beer. The crispness and bitterness is outstanding.
